Elizabeth Pinborough has put together a working session on ekphrasis at the Conscious Writers Collective and last week she offered up the two pieces of art as affinities to each other, inviting the group to write on the space between the two ( mind, not the visual space, but more metaphorical ).
This was the following poem to arrive, after some labor, which does find an unexpected space that exists, at least in my brain.
